This spot is amazing for everything, we loved the staff! Today it was so busy and considering there was only around 4 staff members there the business ran so successfully. The girl taking orders was superb the lady making coffees was amazing too! After speaking to both of them we realised how welcoming the place was and the 2 people in the kitchen made the food super well and their selection was fantastic we only found this place today but it was incredibleless

Not a friendly place.Perhaps for locals but not tourists. We went into get our drinks carried them out ourselves to find a dirty table, waiting to be cleaned. The girl serving completely ignored us & carried on closing parasols. The wine choice was limited and only warm glasses on a warm day So the beer was consumed from the bottle. The whole experience was poor we won't repeat for certain or recommend. Overpriced and overrated. The rating is for the view only.less

Visited with another couple on a sunny late afternoon. There were no bar prices on display,I and a mate both had a good hunt around but found no prices....be warned. We took a punt and ordered a couple of local beers and small house wines. We needed a second mortgage to pay and couldn't believe what we'd just been told.It was a cafe after all. So queried the prices because they aren't visible anywhere. That's correct we got, £ 13 for two local weak beers, in a rustic cafe and without any table service. It had to be wrong, £12 for two small house wines served in warm glasses. Drew the line at that & asked for chilled glasses. We got a lot of huffing and puffing, rolling of eyes and loud sigh. Unpleasant service and unfriendly. We went outside with the drinks and sat on a wonky worn out old table. It was obvious very quickly that locals received a very different level of service etc than that of us tourists. It was a rip off but one that we definitely won't repeat. Bring your own chairs / drinks / snacks and save yourself a fortune. The view is free for anyone & everyone to enjoy!less
The Boathouse is a small , family run beachside cafe. We have been visiting the Boathouse for several years, initially as holidaymakers and now as local residents. Whether calling in for coffee and cake or a freshly prepared meal we are always made to feel welcome and our dogs offered complimentary treats ! In our opinion the Boathouse offers great value for money considering the standards of the meals , drinks and the great beachside location.less
